We just spent a few days at the Creative South Conference gathering new ideas and inspiration so that we can create more engaging storytelling for our clients. We can’t wait to put the ideas to work!

Greed isn't good. There's too much of it in the world today. Inspired by the B Corp movement, we want to be a business that operates as a force for good: supporting our team members well (offering decent wages to our contractors and full benefits for our full-time team even when we aren't required to), charging fair prices to our clients, and giving 10% of our net profits to common good causes. We're excited to announce the recipients of our common good giving for 2025: The Trevor Project, Yesod Mutual Aid Fund, and Friends of Refugees.

As we said in the last post from our "Business for the Common Good" series, we want Common Good Creative to be about the common good...not just in the type of clients we serve but in the way we operate our business. So when we went to open a business bank account, we searched for a bank that reflected our values.

There are a number of great options in socially conscious banking but we landed on Sunrise Banks. They are a certified B Corp - which means they view business as a force for good in the world and hold themselves to particular ethical standards. Sunrise is also a member of the Global Alliance for Banking on Values, a certification that less than 20 U.S. banks hold. Sunrise also has the option for Community Impact and Net Zero deposits and they invest in local communities as a certified Community Development Financial Institution.

Your logo should tell the story of your organization in a way that invites curiosity from outsiders and reminds current supporters of your purpose. We love getting the chance to dive deep into the stories of our amazing clients to create new and refreshed logos that do just that. Our team partnered with Lutheran Church of the Resurrection on their East Cobb Trunk or Treat event to help spread the word, from promo strategy to graphics and event visuals. Watching hundreds of families show up to celebrate together is exactly why we do what we do.

One of the organizations we’re proud to partner with, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Minneaopolis, just reached 4,000 followers, a milestone of reaching even more people with the love of Christ.

Their message of justice, presence, and belonging ripples far beyond their neighborhood and we’re honored to help amplify a voice that reminds us what church looks like when love leads.
