Another morning photo in Bryce canyon.

This is a merged 2-image panorama in Bryce Canyon. Bryce is really quite a magical place in the morning light.

If there is a next time, I want to walk down to the bottom in the main part of the canyon and get some differing perspectives. The walking down is the easy part. Its the walking up that scares me.

The park goes on for several miles with some good vistas readily accessible from parking areas. The main canyon is a short walk from parking. The main canyon is closest to the entrance and has the best views that I saw.

As with any landscape, its meant to be viewed full screen on your device. It will not look good viewed without clicking to make it full screen on your device.

Eash show was taken with "only" a 24MP camera. The resulting full resolution image is 40MP. This compressed Facebook image is just 1.5 MP

We had our last eclipse here in August 2017. I was able to get some decent shots. This is a "composite" where I took the moon from another shot and put it on top of the completely black moon in the background shot during "totality".

On April 8, 2024, we will have a total eclipse once again in the USA. With better equipment and longer lenses I have now, I'm considering making the drive to photograph it once more, the final time in my lifetime. I think I can get even better shots this time.
