BRC is proud to be partnering with to collect Hurricane Relief items for the victims of Helene in NC! We have multiple in-person drop off sites or you can order from our Amazon wish list to send directly to our collection site. All items are being delivered to NC on Nov. 15th so we kindly ask that Amazon orders are placed with a delivery date by Nov. 14th at the latest.

Today, we reflect upon tragedy that struck 9/11/2001 from a senseless act of terrorism. While we will never fully recover from the events that transpired, we vow to always honor those who lost their life, and those that continue to fight for our freedom. Without the many brave women and men that put their lives on the line every single day, we wouldn’t be able to enjoy the freedoms that so many of us take for granted.

It can be easy to forget why rucking exists. Many of us look at it as a form of exercise. But it’s so much bigger than that…. Challenge yourself to remember that it’s more than exercise for those who carry the weight on their backs, physically and mentally, to protect our country.

Congrats to a solid squad of people who completed the Trailblazers Tough/Basic this weekend in Atlanta! As always, Cadre brought the heat (and the weight 🥴) to make it challenging, while reminding us every minute of the challenge why we do what we do!

Buckhead Ruck Club turned 2 years old today!!! 🥳 While we’ve only been on Instagram since June ‘21, our very first “ruck meetup” was in December 2020!

When we first started our club, we didn’t know about GORUCK — we were looking for a way to get outside and workout while the gyms in Atlanta were closed. On a “good” Friday, 5 people showed up (swipe to see some OG’s!) When we learned about GORUCK, we knew we had some potential. There were many people along the way who told us it would never be successful, and that we needed to pick a different time because nobody will show up on Fridays at 0530. Some even told us that most clubs that take off quickly fizzle (thanks Cadre for that… because we love a good challenge!). Shorty after we started meeting, we applied on ’s website to be an official club. Then we started doing events. Then we ordered club patches. And slowly but surely, we have grown into a club that welcomes over 20+ people every other Friday, and over 50 members that affiliate with us!

We are infinitely thankful for everyone that has contributed to Buckhead Ruck Club over the past 2 years. We are extra thankful to , & for starting the club and keeping it going. From dedicating their time, spending their own money, letting the club meet at their house, encouraging members to sign up for events, and providing the space and opportunity for people to learn & grow!

Last Sunday, Buckhead Ruck Club partnered with for our 2nd annual ! The event itself was empowering — accomplishing 1,000 box step ups, whether slick or weighted, solo or partner. For some it was their first time participating, others had participated many times. We would all agree that it was a great morning filled with encouragement from our friends and new accomplishments.

But what really made the biggest impact on us was hearing from our veteran community before and after the event. They spoke on mental health and how PTSD has affected them personally - having struggled with it themselves and also losing loved ones to su***de. Their stories were raw and left us all with a deeper understanding of why we are doing what we were doing. Why it is so important to reach out to others and let them know that you’re there for them and that they don’t have to battle alone. On Sunday, we did just that - lifted eachother up and pushed eachother to take just one more step. Now we need to take these lessons and live them in our daily lives and show others that we are there to help them with just “one more” step, week, day, or minute 💙
