Happy Father’s Day
Numbers don’t lie!
We sponsored an Accident Scene Management class last week, and the story behind the numbers on this white helmet are a great reminder of what to keep in mind when you’re thinking about protecting your brain !
OVER THE HUMP DAY!
Andrew was in a car wreck at work and badly hurt his back and neck. He reported it to his employer, and they did nothing.
His injuries got worse because of his employer’s delay in filing his workers’ comp claim. He sought local counsel, who said “Call Colonel Moe!”
Our team litigated this complex case and guided Andrew through every step of the process until we secured coverage from the workers’ compensation insurer for all of his medical treatment, including injections and surgery.
Once he began feeling better, Robbie mediated the case and secured a strong settlement on Andrew’s behalf. We are proud and grateful to see Andrew move on and get his life back!
Moebes Law has been working with Road Guardians for years .
We’ve helped hundreds of Georgia riders get life-saving training .
We’re so proud that one of those riders decided to become an instructor after taking a course with Stilettos on Steel!
And she’s prepared to help your group too!
If you’re interested in having an Accident Scene Management event just call “Colonel Moe!”
Women Veterans Day (or Women Veterans Recognition Day) is observed annually on June 12. This date commemorates the landmark signing of the Women's Armed Services Integration Act in 1948, which granted women the legal right to serve as permanent, regular members of the U.S. Armed Forces.
While it is not a standalone federal holiday, it is officially recognized by legislative acts or gubernatorial proclamations in over 20 states.
OVER THE HUMP DAY!
Nathaniel crushed his ankle on the job and had the insurer’s nurse tell him to “suck it up and take it” when he wanted pain medication.
An illegal runner had him sign up with a “billboard lawyer” while he was in the hospital and “drugged up” (against the company nurse’s wishes).
Luckily, he reached out to a local lawyer who said, “if you’re hurt at work, you better call Colonel Moe!” So, he did.
We changed his doctor, got the clueless billboard lawyer fired, got his weekly temporary total disability (TTD) checks started at the max rate for Georgia, navigated surgeries with him, and mediated his case to a large settlement that lets him get his life back!
This weekend Michael rode from Atlanta to Syracuse New York for the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Nationals.
But “Quez” rode even farther, all the way from Colorado.
We talked to him about how the organization and riding motorcycles helps our veterans cope with things like PTSD.
Michael is a rider and a member of the CVMA. Supporting veterans and our riders is what we are all about .
A little rain does not dampen a whole lot of support for our military. Last weekend Michael and his family took part in the Mission 22 Hero Hill Climb. The aim is to end veteran su***de and save the lives of an estimated 22 of our heroes we lose every single day. If you’re as passionate about serving our veterans you can come and climb the hill with us next year and possible save a life!
Glenndell hurt his back at work. The workers’ comp adjuster chose a doctor who was terrible, so he sought counsel with a local lawyer who said to “Call Colonel Moe!”
His recovery was lengthy, but the Moebes Law team filed multiple petitions for medical care and litigated his case to ensure proper medical care, timely weekly disability benefits, and consistent support throughout his treatment, which included injections, radio frequency ablation, and surgical consults.
Once he got better, we advocated for Glenndell at mediation and secured an excellent settlement.
Glenndell is happy to have his life back!
