August 5, 2010. We were ahead of our time.

15 years ago today. Oh, the memories of this day, this season of life.

Indeed, a life-altering moment as 5 of us were launched as ‘s iconic class of “The Real Housewives of DC” for one epic season.

1-An unprecedented White House security breach transpired, documented on our season. Overnight, our show was attached to an international incident wreaking havoc within our newly elected administration. On a far less serious note, ultimately caused the demise of the highest viewed and rated season of housewives of its time.

2-First RHW series to break the “4th wall” including production on camera to share what was transpiring behind our cameras managing major controversy.

3-A cast of 5, filmed for 5 months, 5 days a week for 5 hours per day, launched August 5, 2010. (Who knows how many more 5’s occurred - oh, I’m a mother of 5!)

4-Addressed political issues unfolding in DC ie; legalization of gay marriage

5-Showcased a Congressional hearing that took place because of the White House breach

I want to acknowledge my 5 children for allowing me this opportunity to share my heart, our amazing family, my charity work and good intentions to sign up for such a risk to all of us. I know it was very hard on you all.
