“It’s just white paint.” - said no interior designer ever. 😂🤍 One recent team conversation had us comparing the whites we’ve used throughout our projects, and the list got long FAST.

Because the truth is, white is never just white. The right shade depends on the natural light, flooring, cabinetry, countertops, furnishings, and all the other finishes happening in a space. A white that looks perfect in one home can read completely differently in another. Behind every beautiful finished space is a whole lot of labor - and install days are where it all comes together! Furniture moving, pillow fluffing, art hanging, accessory styling, approximately 47 trips back to the truck… and maybe a little chaos along the way.

To honor Labor Day, which recognizes the contributions of workers to our country’s strength and prosperity…we’re celebrating the hands (and muscles 💪) behind the pretty pictures. We’re so thankful for our Sol Design team and all the talented people who help bring our projects to life. Here’s to hard work, great teamwork, and the very best kind of before-and-after. 🤍

If you’ve worked with Sol Design, chances are you’ve seen Todd somewhere behind the scenes - hauling furniture, ironing sheets, making beds, troubleshooting the impossible, or making the entire team laugh while doing it! While he enjoys install days the most, many of you probably know his superpower is relationships. He honestly loves people and he loves getting to know them. And his ability to remember your special details is fascinating!! So be careful what you say you love, because he’ll never forget it!

But beyond Sol, Todd is a lighthearted, hard-working husband and dad who brings that same energy, loyalty, and big personality to the people he loves most. Whether he’s driving the boat, walking his sweet Quincy, running a race, skiing a powder day, setting up an event, volunteering at church….or turning that team photo into that last picture; things are simply more fun when Todd is around and he’s an inspiration to us all!

In honor of National Dog Day, we’re giving the spotlight to the Dogs of Sol Design - our favorite four-legged coworkers and the cutest members of the team. 🐾🤎

They may not know the difference between a floor plan and a furniture plan, but they do take their roles as office supervisors, sample inspectors, meeting crashers, and professional nap consultants very seriously.

They work hard. They nap harder. And yes, they absolutely deserve a spot on the payroll. 🐶✨ Happy National Dog Day from our pack to yours!

Did someone say Garden Party?
A little green, a little texture, and a whole lot to love. 🌿

Green has gone neutral, just like blue - which makes perfect sense when we look to creation, where both have always been our constant backdrops. Woven textures, warm woods, touches of brushed gold, and subtle patterns keep things feeling fresh, layered and inviting.

And can we talk about the lighting?! From those woven kitchen pendants to the statement chandelier in the primary bedroom, the fixtures are definitely having their moment. 😍

The backpacks are packed, routines are returning, and we’re getting back into the swing of things around here, too. While we’ve been a little quiet on social, we’ve been anything but quiet behind the scenes - and we’re ready to start sharing more of what we’ve been working on.
