Literally, as a software developer, this is what you day will mostly look like. I tell you, Stack Overflow is a necessity and team it up with Google, you have all the resources you need.

And contributing to the community is great so that others can continue to Code, Google, Stack Overflow, and Repeat on the next problem that they may have.

Sometimes you may not find the full answer there, but you should at least find a piece of the solution to help you figure it out.

Mac vs PC. This debate continues on and with both operating systems they have pros and cons. I prefer the when development. It is just so intuitive, my terminal is there, most of the apps like PHP Storm, VS Code, and DB Beaver, their apps run smoothly for me. I know that they are on Windows, but I have been team mac for over 10 years. And I love using .

But lately, the PC has been looking more attractive to me. I do have a Surface pro and it is so conveniet to pull our and carry anywhere. But I always find myself coming back to Mac.

So what is your OS of choice and why? or ?

Software Development is Syntax & Logic

That's software development in a nutshell. Syntax is just a bunch of rules that state how to do certain actions. Just like with a video game, there are certain buttons you have to press in order for you to do something and if you combine them, you can do other things. That's how syntax works. If I want to save information, I have to use the rules of the language in a certain way to perform that action.

Logic is how you plan on doing something by using the actions or syntax for the language of choice. When building applications, it is important that you use good logic to not only do something, but to make the application scalable and manageable. If those steps are taken lightly, you end up with an application that can't grow as your application needs grow.

Now, I'm not going to make light of what all goes into software development, but if you can accomplish those 2 things, you are well on your way to entering software development and growing within software development.

A break from the laptop to be a kid again with the kids.

Had to get out of the house and let the kids blow off some steam. And a good change of scenery for coding. Left the Mac at home and brought the Surface Pro.

Since Covid, my favorite late night eats are closing earlier. I am a night owl and usual like developing at night while it’s quiet in the house and the kids are down.

But my fav place is Waffle House and their closed! But I can always depend on Checkers being open but late at night, Checkers stay looking like the club…lol
