Juneteenth is a day of freedom, remembrance, and reflection.
It marks June 19, 1865, when enslaved people in Galveston, Texas were finally informed of their freedom, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Today, Juneteenth is recognized as a federal holiday and continues to honor Black history, resilience, and liberation.
From a marketing standpoint, Juneteenth is also an important reminder: not every meaningful day needs to become a campaign.
Some moments call for education.
Some call for amplification.
Some call for quiet respect.
The brands that get it right are the ones that understand the difference between showing up with purpose and showing up because the content calendar said so.
Today, we honor Juneteenth and the history behind it.

A Pride Month reminder from the kirpop team:
Inclusion isn't something you post about once a year.
The brands that build meaningful connections are the ones that show up consistently.
The rainbow gets attention. Consistency builds trust.
Happy Pride Month.
Music has a way of bringing people together, creating memories, and strengthening communities.
That's why we're proud to support our client, the Georgia Symphony Orchestra
and their Keep the Tempo Going campaign.
Every donation helps support performances, music education programs, and opportunities that inspire musicians of all ages. Through June 30, all gifts will be matched by the GSO Board up to $20,000, doubling your impact.

Before your brand panic-posts a soccer ball…
You don't need to be an official sponsor.
You don't need a last-minute "GOOOAAALLL" campaign.
And you don't need to pretend you've always been passionate about corner kicks.
What you do need to understand is this:
Big cultural moments change behavior.
People gather differently.
They eat differently.
They travel differently.
They spend differently.
They scroll differently.
That's the real opportunity.
The goal (sorry, one pun) isn't to hijack the moment. It's to understand where your brand naturally fits into what people are already paying attention to.
Marketing takeaway: Don't chase the event.
Follow the attention.
A website should do more than look good. It should help your business work smarter.
When Dobbins Company partnered with kirpop, they had two big goals: bring their online presence into the modern era and simplify the appraisal process for their customers.
We developed a new site that reflects the expertise, professionalism, and trusted reputation Dobbins Company has built over decades.
Working closely with the Dobbins team, we then mapped out and built a custom online application for ValueFacts, their fast and cost-effective appraisal service. Now banking customers can submit machinery and equipment directly through the website, while Dobbins can efficiently review submissions, assign FMV, OLV, and AV values, generate certificates and invoices, and seamlessly connect everything to their existing workflows and QuickBooks.
The result? A modern digital experience on the front end and a streamlined process behind the scenes.
We love helping clients solve real business challenges with solutions that look great and work even harder.
June said: let’s relax.
Marketing said: cute. Anyway, we still need content, campaigns, reports, strategy, and 47 approvals.
Everyone thinks summer slows down, but marketing does not get a beach chair.
Luckily, El Chalupa Cabra packed the tiny laptop. 😎

Great time yesterday at Glover Park Brewery’s Give Back Night.
We love connecting with community leaders, nonprofits, and changemakers who are making a difference throughout Cobb County. Supporting organizations that bring people together and create meaningful impact is something we're always proud to be part of.
The fact that it was benefitting a non-profit near and dear to our hearts made it all the better. Cheers to the Cobb Collaborative
Huge congratulations to our client KIS Cubed Events Events on winning four 2026 Allie Awards!
From destination celebrations to creative event concepts, their work continues to prove what happens when vision, planning, design, and a truly ridiculous level of detail all show up to the party.
We are so proud to support this incredible team and even prouder to see their work recognized in such a big way.
Four Allie Awards. No big deal. Just kidding, very big deal.
Congratulations, KIS Cubed Events

On June 7, 1995, Amazon registered its domain name.
What began as an online bookstore grew into one of the world's most influential brands, transforming the way people shop and setting new standards for customer experience.
Its journey is a reminder that every great business starts with a vision and grows through innovation, adaptability, and a commitment to serving customers.
At kirpop, we're inspired by stories like Amazon's that show what's possible when bold ideas are paired with strategic growth.
What business lesson do you think brands can learn from Amazon's evolution?
