ART SHOWS! 🎨✨

I’ve never done one before, and as an introvert, I’m honestly a bit scared. I know I have the skills to get things ready and printed, but am I really ready to put myself out there? My imposter syndrome is through the roof! 😅 Still, I know I need to start trying new things. Are art shows or craft fairs worth it? I would love to hear your thoughts and experiences! ❤️

Another Sunday in the studio…

Sometimes, I can’t help but feel what is meant to be will be.

As I navigate my journey as an artist, I reflect on how I ended up here and wonder if it was all meant to be. My childhood was spent drawing at my desk, always choosing art classes as electives in high school, and then pursuing a degree in fine arts for four years in college. After working for multiple marketing agencies, I started my own agency to help small businesses get off the ground. Opening a shared creative studio taught me so much about photography. Now, I find myself painting in that studio, photographing my work, and sharing it with the world. Sometimes, paths are simply meant to be, right?

I’ve received several compliments on my work lately, and I’m so grateful for the words of encouragement! I think people appreciate seeing something different and creative—something they’ve always wanted to do themselves. A few people have asked for commission pieces or artwork in specific colors. While I’ve never done a commission piece before, I’m always willing to! Please feel free to reach out with any special requests. I would love to create something special just for you! 🤍

Who knew—an “old dog” can learn new tricks. I rarely do things for myself these days. I mean, who has the time? But yesterday, I took 3 hours at Collective to do something I’ve wanted to do for such a long time: PAINT.

I’ve added “The Beginning of Something” to my storefront. Please reach out if you have any questions. ❤️

Mandy #1

Naming my art has always been a challenge. Last fall, I created my Nostalgia series, naming each piece after some of my favorite women from adolescence. This particular piece was made for packaging and quickly became one of my favorites in the series. As a result, I named it after one of my favorite women from that time, 🤍
