Charles Pledger, the leader of our Investment Sales Brokerage Group, and members of his brokerage team Allen Farr, Lawson Hull and Dade Stewart hit the links today to participate in the NYO Chastain Classic. Matt Olson’s walk-off home run in the ninth inning gave the Braves a 4-3 victory over the Detroit Tigers last night. Congrats to Ackerman & Co.’s Stephen Lapierre and Wyatt Whitaker for closing the sale of a former 6,440 SF Meineke Car Care Center in Woodstock, GA. Stephen and Wyatt represented the seller in the $1.7-million transaction. The buyer, Killian Automotive, is expanding in Northwest Georgia and will open its newest car repair center at the site, located at 9777 Highway 92. John Speros, the leader of our Land Group, is Ackerman & Co.’s Broker of the Month for March. John completed a huge transaction – the $16-million sale of 299 acres in Stockbridge, GA. on behalf of the seller. The land is the future site of a project known as Reeves Creek, which will feature 1,451 residential units. Congrats to John and teammates JT Speros and Kyle Gable for delivering this major closing!
