The film had its world premiere at the International Women’s Conference in Kigali, Rwanda and played at the Pan-African Film Festival in Los Angeles.

In the 1960’s a group of self-empowered Malian women sparked a revolution, inspired by beauty and economic survival.

This year, Art & Shared Stories take center stage. Fri Oct-10 kicks-off with a mini showcase of art works by guest artist Ibou Ndoye Art. Experience the vibrancy of Senegalese Art brought to life right here in Atlanta. The goal is to maintain vibrant program activities in a small and intimate community setting. Light refreshments served.
