Instead of starting and learning with something simple like a circle, I was like “I’m going to make this so hard for myself” and went with a clay arrowhead center I made. 💀 still not done but I made it to the second row 😮‍💨

I kept knotting my string and having to undo it until I got the hang of it. And I poked myself in the fingertip bout fifty-leven times.

Did a colored version of my Redland Singers piece. 🥹

Loved working on this but it also made me real melancholy. I loved my childhood and loved going to powwows all over with my parents. I miss it and miss my dad a lot. But I’m so grateful for it all.

I spent 6(?)hours drawing and getting this done lol I had an idea and my hyperfixation and flow state activated. Referenced from a photo I took last summer. All my handwriting for the text. Probably going to work on a colored version next 🫠
