Should you get your home inspected if it's brand new? In my experience I have not come across a home, new or otherwise, that didn't have several defects. Always get an inspection. It will save you money and keep you from headaches. Here is a NEW home with a dead outlet and a siding board falling off the chimney along with about 20 other deficiencies.

A lot of rot. Look out people, someone is using non-treated lumber for decking material.
