We are excited to invite families of incoming kindergarten students to Kindergarten Coffee with the Principals at Atkinson Academy!

This informal gathering is an opportunity to better understand how the combined half-day and full-day classes could look. It gives parents an open forum to ask questions, and hear directly from Timberlane administration, how we plan to make sure that all of our students get what they need in their class. With coffee and light refreshments, learn more about what a kindergarten day looks like across our two elementary schools.

The third-grade students of Atkinson Academy's 2025–2026 school year have spent many weeks preparing and practicing to bring this production to the stage.

This year's play, The Weather Show, follows Dr. Emma as she embarks on an exciting journey across the land, experiencing all types of weather while searching for a very special barometer—a scientific instrument used to measure air pressure. Along the way, she encounters unexpected obstacles, remarkable weather events, and a cast of memorable characters.

On Wednesday June 3rd, Atkinson Academy’s fifth-grade students proudly hosted the 11th Annual Cardboard Arcade! This exciting tradition showcases the creativity, problem-solving, and innovation skills students have developed throughout their years in the Innovation program, with support from Unified Arts teachers and classroom staff.

Over the course of several weeks, students worked through the engineering design process, generating ideas, creating plans, building prototypes, testing their designs, and making improvements along the way. The result was a collection of imaginative arcade-style games made primarily from cardboard and other recycled materials.

Students in PreK through fourth grade visited the arcade to try out the games and experience the fifth-graders’ hard work firsthand. Later in the day, families and friends were invited to join in the fun as well. The event was a wonderful celebration of creativity, collaboration, and hands-on learning, enjoyed by participants of all ages.
