It was an amazing day holding signs and seeing a steady stream of cars entering to vote. We received reports of record numbers of voters from the moderator. We all win when we pay attention and critically analyze who represents our town. I can honestly say I will never turn a blind eye to who is representing me/ or our town after this experience. I have learned so much from running for this position and I will never be complacent in trusting others with my voice again. Regardless of the outcome, we must make the effort to monitor who represents our town. Let's keep Atkinson a special place to live and build our community ❤️! Prelude to the eclipse tomorrow morning!

My name is Chis Duerr. I am a retired Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist running for State Representative. As an Atkinson resident of 35 years, I am running to represent other residents from all political parties and viewpoints. With my independent voice, I’ll gather feedback from residents about their concerns, what they believe should be addressed in our community, and make sure they’re heard in Concord.

As your representative, I will not advance my own agenda. Atkinson residents know they are not being represented anymore. We’re dealing with the high cost of living- food, electricity, gas and oil prices- and no one seems to have solutions. Meanwhile, the same people who are always voted into office are promoting their extremism. Many residents agree that Atkinson is a great place to live and want to maintain our community. We do not want to secede. We want to be represented.

I will advocate for our residents and ensure all voices in Atkinson are heard in Concord. On November 8th, I hope to have your vote.
