Life can certainly wear you down sometimes. The past 3 years have definitely been challenging both personally and with my business.
Friday morning I was tired, discouraged, and kind of drained. I stood there in the shop, looked around, and cried out to the Lord saying I just wanted to shut the door and walk away. I needed His strength and direction.
A few minutes after opening, a sweet customer came in with a very specific request. She was looking for a green and white gingham dress for a special occasion. People! How many green and white gingham dresses have you seen period…let alone in Athens! But I had one!!! Not only was it cute, it was also on sale. She was happy and I was dumbfounded.
The God of the universe heard my pity party and quickly turned it into a blessing for both of us…using a simple gingham dress. You just have to marvel at His goodness and grace. I’m still tired but my spirit is renewed. How great is our God

This cat LOVES boxes…and this is her favorite time of the year…so many boxes. Any new box that comes in, she claims…no matter the size…and I wonder why it’s hard to get things done sometimes 😊 Gotta love her anyway…
