Don't forget to join us TODAY for our German Club Stammtisch, which is a great opportunity to practice speaking German in a casual setting.
Please be aware, however, that our location has changed: Jackie O's is expecting higher than usual crowds tonight, so for this month only, Stammtisch will be held at the Front Room Coffeehouse on the fourth floor of Baker University Center.
We'll still be meeting from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, as normal. German speakers of all levels are welcome, and people are free to come and go as their schedule permits.

This week, you have not one, but two opportunities to speak German in a casual, fun setting!
On the second and fourth Mondays of each month, a community group hosts a Stammtisch (i.e., a German conversation hour), and German speakers of all levels are welcome to attend. They meet from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Casa Nueva. Join them tonight!
And then on Thursday, the German Club will be hosting its monthly Stammtisch at Jackie O's. We'll be meeting from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, and German speakers of all levels are likewise welcome.
For either Stammtisch, you are free to come and go as your schedule permits.

Don't forget to join us TONIGHT for our celebration of Fasching bzw. Karneval bzw. Fastnacht bzw. Fasnet (which is the equivalent of Mardi Gras). We'll be meeting from 7:00 to 9:00 PM in 113 Gordy Hall. We'll learn about various Fasching traditions; will play a few crazy Fasching-style games; and will have plenty of food, including the traditional Berliner bzw. Krapfen (or the closest approximation of them that one can find in Athens).
Guests are invited, but not required, to dress in costume. All are welcome!

Don't forget to join us TONIGHT for the German Club's Fernsehabend. We'll be watching one episode each of two or three different German-language TV series, all of which are available through Netflix or on DVD at Alden Library. We'll have several different options to choose from, and the attendees will vote on which shows to watch. The screenings will take place from 7:00 to 9:00 PM in 203 Gordy Hall, and snacks will be provided.
This is a great way to gather ideas of shows to watch outside of class in order to keep up with your German.
