Ohio Brew Week — or OBW, as we affectionately call it — is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and celebrating Ohio’s diverse craft brew industry during a 9-day-long Athens festival. Dozens of breweries descend upon Athens with hundreds of varieties of beer, taking over every tap in town. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the departure of the man who blessed us all with the bar: Tony Sylvester. Tony provided a space for us all to be ourselves, and we are forever grateful for the community that he built here. We will do our best to repeat his silly jokes and continue his legacy. We love you forever, Tony! 💜
