This year’s round of Christmas creations. Nothing turned this time, but a few knife (and axe) scales and a load of lazy Susans!

Why haven't I been turning lately? Well, I had to finish a Christmas present several months late. Take a look! (It took up my whole workshop... then my garage)

I finally finished turning a cherry burl that had been giving me lots of trouble by moving as the wood dried.

Here’s a walnut pen I finished this morning and a stabilized cherry bowl with a bark inclusion that I finally took a picture of. @ Woodturning Blog

A little turning for tonight.

I only turned one Christmas ornament this year, and forgot to take a pic of it! Most of my workshop time the past few months has been spent working on a scrollsaw trivet for my mom. I started it looong ago; possibly before I purchased my first lathe. I’m not skilled or patient enough to re-create this. The long side is about 14”, and it contains several zillion cuts.

I finally got back into the workshop for a bit tonight.
