A big round of applause for those who represented us at the Mid-South Educational Research Association! 👏👏👏 A research proposal on tracking upward mobility on Alabama college campuses was presented by our very own President and Vice President, Tucker Constable and Charles Prince. Excellent work!

"Get to know our team members!" Series ⬇️

Hi! I'm Katie Vinson. My major is Secondary Education with a minor in English Language Learners (ELL). I graduated from West Limestone High School in 2017 and attended the University of North Alabama for three years before transferring to Athens State in 2021. I plan to complete my classes after the spring of 2026. I decided to join Sigma Tau Delta because it gave me the opportunity to branch out and make new friends and connections. What I love most about Sigma Tau Delta is that our members are more than just members; we are a loving and supportive community. My future goal is to teach English to non-native speakers. In my free time, I enjoy learning new languages, watching wrestling and baseball, listening to music, reading and writing, playing with my nephew, and spending time with my dog and chinchilla.

Hi! My name is Marli Wood. This is my third year at Athens State pursuing an accounting degree and it's my honor to serve as Sigma Tau Delta's treasurer. Other than Sigma Tau Delta, I am the founder and president of the Tabletop Gamers club and currently work at the Kares Library on campus. Outside of campus activities, I enjoy reading, playing video games, and doing various crafts.
