It's time to start planting those warm-season forages and grasses in May

May is the big gardening month as we finish planting cool-season veggies and start planting the warm-season ones. The key to success is having warm soil temps as we start to plant those warm-season veggies.

This is the latest drought monitor map for the U.S. Although the mid-west is generally drought free, the rest of the country cannot say the same. This could effect agriculture production if this continues to be the case.
