The recent heat wave has mostly dried out the trails. Hickory is still the wettest. Some blow downs still exist, but trails are better than they have been for quite some time....

Recent micro bursts and heavy thunderstorms have made the trails wet with a few blow downs. Crews are working to locate and remove obstacles as soon as possible.

Trails should be getting drier as the weather outlook shows improvement over the weekend.

Rain forecast accumulations for Friday into Saturday are for close to two inches total.

Trails will be wet and muddy this weekend. Consider running and riding elsewhere and if you do find yourself on the trails, accepted practice is to run or ride through muddy sections, not around so as to help prevent unnecessary trail widening.

Trail conditions should improve going into next week.

Just like last week, trails are drying out today (Friday) into the weekend. Expect tacky conditions in some areas (Hickory Trail and other low areas), but we will see improvement as the sun shines with the warmer weather......until the next rainy spell.

Trails are saturated with recent rains.

Expect trails to be soft for the rest of this week. If the forecast turns out to be accurate, we may see better conditions after a few warm sunny days....hopefully by the middle of next week.

Recent mixed precipitation combined with cooler temperatures have slowed drainage. Trails are a little wet today and improving (Saturday). Expect more improvement on Sunday and Monday.

It looks like we will have some rain by mid week (Tuesday).

If you get to the trails and find that you are leaving tracks, opt for a gravel road ride as an alternative.

We have had a good run of nice weather and ramps and other springtime vegetation is coming up.

The next week is forecast to be off and on wet and dry. Trail conditions will be mixed. Have a plan "B" such as gravel roads if you find the trails too wet to use.

As the weather gets warmer and sunnier, trails are improving. There are some wet spots here and there. Expect trails to be wet a day or two after rain.

Trails are thawing out from late last week's snow surprise. Temps will be warm for the rest of the week and hopefully trails will be in good shape in the next 2 - 3 days.

Photos 03/03/2022

Last nights rain (Wed) was very light. There are a few localized wet / soft areas, but overall the trails are in good shape and will be that way until sometime on Sunday.

Trials are improving, but runoff is still prevalent. Temperatures are forecast to be warmer with less rain (until next week). Expect significant issues for a few more days and look for improvements until the next rain cycle.
