We understand your questions, concerns, frustrations regarding the proposed pool, and are extremely sorry that the pool has not yet been under construction and completed. The initial pool process was started with the Athens-Clarke County Planning Department in October 2018. Both our attorney and engineer have been in discussions with the Planning Department since October 2018 finally allowing us to apply for the permit in March 2019. As of today, Friday, June 14th, we have been told we are "very close" to permit approval. We are frustrated too as we have absolutely no control; the county has tied our hands in this lengthy process. Please feel free to call the Athens-Clarke County Planning Department with any of your questions or concerns.
