Dear God,
Fill my heart this morning with a joy that does not rise and fall with my circumstances. When this day feels heavy or uncertain, remind me that my joy is found in You, not in how everything looks right now. Help me rejoice because of who You are, even when my situation has not changed. Let Your presence be my strength, my peace, and my reason to hope. “The joy of the Lord is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10)

Father, lift my spirit today. Teach me to choose gratitude, to look for Your goodness, and to hold onto a joy that lasts. Guard my heart from despair and from tying my peace to outcomes I cannot see yet. Let Your joy steady me, strengthen me, and shine through me in every moment of this day as I walk with You.

WHAT THEEEE FUHHHH???

I met my ex at 15. He was 21. We married 2 years later and had 9 kids. Currently in 39. My bff’s kids were living at my house while she was struggling. One of them was 21(at some point we were extremely close). BFF ended up having to leave the country and the kids stayed with me as well as the 21 year old. After I had my 9th child I got my iud and he wanted to have 2 wives. My bffs 20 something year old daughter and me…… Eventually he left me for her and I’ve been raising the kids alone for 4 years. He moved out of state with her. He’s obviously a narc so the more distance the better but there are times where I want to share the entire story but understand some of my kids are still really young and I don’t want to traumatize them. Wwyd?
