I know I’ve been MIA for a while, but man …life. With the exception of the circled dates that are holidays in the Apple calendar each of those dots represent at least one appointment for either me or one of my boys. That doesn’t even show the days that have multiple appointments 🤦‍♀️

I so foolishly thought I would have all this extra time not working full time, but moming is more than a full time job.

That being said Progress Over Perfection has definitely had to take a back burner. As I have always said, I am a mother and wife first, everything else falls into place behind that.

As I am unable to hold evening classes for adults until further notice, I am trying to make the difficult decision on whether or not to maintain a brick and mortar locale or to primarily meet virtually with clients.

If you are interested in getting on my schedule for Fall (for day time lessons M-Th) please reach out asap so I can plan for that.

Let’s Read 20 was honored recently at the Governor’s Early Literacy Foundation’s Eastern Region Book Bus Summit! Did you know that our colorful bus was one of the first buses established in the state of TN? Congratulations to all of those who have given of their time and resources to enhance literacy by providing free books and resources to children and families in our community!

My little one loves My School!

My School is a Parents Day out/ Kindergarten Readiness program. School is Monday and Wednesday from 8:45 to 2:15. Message for more info.

We are seeking hire a Collaborating Author for El mundo en tus manos (EMETM) for the 2024-2025 school year. As a successful candidate, you will work closely with the EMETM Publishing Team to research news stories, write summaries at various levels of text complexity, format materials for publication, and develop post-reading activities that support comprehension and processing.

This is a remote, asynchronous position between August and May only that has time-sensitive deadlines.
