I started this page when I turned 50, which was almost 2 years ago now. The last year and a half has been rough; perimenopause has got to be as tough a season of life as the teenage years. 🤦🏻♀️ I’m a “fixer” and my nature is to figure out why a problem is happening and then how to fix it. This has humbled me. I’ve learned to not only accept change, but to accept that it is CONSTANTLY changing!! I hope the coming year brings me more answers and peace. 🙌🏻😊

Completed the Murph workout today. I may not be able to move tomorrow but I got it done!
It’s been a while since I’ve posted. Let’s talk perimenopause. It’s trying to kick my a$$, but I’m not letting it get the best of me. I’m trying to roll with it and remind myself that this too shall pass. It’s only a season of my life.

A couple of my meals from the weekend. Yogurt with banana and pecans with a slice of homemade bread for breakfast. Orange chicken with ground chicken, broccoli and peppers over riced cauliflower for dinner.

I modified taco Tuesday and had a taco bowl. Taco meat (lean ground beef) and a little Mexican blend cheese, topped with kale and avocado lime ranch dressing.

Mixed berry smoothie bowl. Frozen mixed berries (blackberries, blueberries, raspberries), protein powder, almond milk. A little flaxseed meal and granola on top! So yummy!
