Record Store Day Is almost here. 4/20 (whoa) is the day you can get your copy of Jorma and John Hurlbut's One More Lifetime at your favorite local record store. This is the third album in the John, Jorma series born out of the quarantine. It's a fabulous recording, just like the first two. 180-gram old-school vinyl. There is also a limited edition CD. These are both limited editions, so don't wait. If you miss it on Record Store Day, there's a record release party at the River of Time Boutique and Gallery in Athens on Friday, April 26th, at 6pm.

Two things to note...the cover of the album is from one of my favorite photographers, Lincoln Castricone, whom we met in Athens, and the photos on the inside sleeve are none other than Brian Blauser, shot at Moonville Tunnel. For those of you that know, you know how cool this place is.

Hannah, Nora Jade’s mom is family. Hannah was one of our daughter Izze’s first babysitters. Her mom Paige, her dad Corbet and her sister Olivia are all… family. Her and Eli’s beautiful daughter Nora was born with ASD, VSD, and Coarch. Nora’s light shined so bright for the time she was on this earth and as heartbreaking as their story is, Hannah and Eli are healing through telling Nora’s story. All we want is a cure. Thank you all for reading about Nora’s life❤️

When we opened the new boutique and gallery in Athens, it was and is a labor of love and another way to give back. Athens is a very cool town with very cool people. We are in between Donkey Coffee and Salaam restaurant. Our FREE concerts will always be FREE, and we aim to host one FREE concert a month. Valentine's Day does not define my love for Jorma, but if it were only one day, I would hire a rocket to stream it across heaven how much I love him and appreciate (almost) all of his traits. Seriously, I look forward to a good laugh with him every day. Laughing with him is almost as good as the raw love we are lucky to still feel for each other. We have experienced some trying times, and I am sure if we didn’t genuinely like each other, we’d have seen no point in committing ourselves further. We are very different people, but somehow, the universe sought to bring us together because I think we are the same on a cosmic level.

The world loves Jorma as the fabulous musician, teacher, and writer that he is. We love him for those things, too, but our love for him as the man and the Dad (including Izze and Zach in this) and husband is so deep that sometimes you think you cannot possibly feel any more love than we do.

Here’s to us and at least 30 more years together. I love him to the moon and back.
