We would like to first thank our amazing 🤩 volunteer coordinator for the work she has been doing for and with the organization. Her valuable talents as a Marketing/Ad student and just life’s work has been such a great asset.

Thank you to the volunteers who showed up and helped on yesterday. Moving those bricks 🧱 was a task that they took on with no sweat. 😅 if you’d like to help us continue this community work, grow produce, herbs, or flowers you’d like, or just learn and network look out for the next meetup.

7:05p. We had only 86 shoppers today. Our usual attendance number.

But we had enough food for 300 families. Our usual food amount ... and yet just a small fraction of the tons of good food that were being discarded in Atlanta this past week!

Lots more food than people again here at FoodCommune this round. Thus, this sea of produce leftover tonite. 😓
