This is more than just a road trip. It’s an opportunity for Carlyn and Jolene to compete against some of the best quarter midget racers in the country while continuing to chase their goals on the national stage.

🏁 Race #7 of the season at Blackbird 🏁 Fathers Day ❤️
We finally put a lot of things together yesterday after spending the last few weeks chasing setups. We had been close, but not quite where we needed to be. Yesterday was a big step in the right direction.

Jolene’s Sr Honda race with Carter from Fank Family Racing was one of the best races of the day. It was close, clean, and competitive from start to finish. Carter could have probably moved her for the win, but raced Jolene with respect the entire race. Two Petty Performance Edge drivers racing each other hard and clean while running 1-2. Love seeing that ❤️🏁
We also made a lot of progress with our Sr Animal setups getting Carlyn’s car into Victory Lane. Between the last National, pavement practice, and preparing for yesterday’s Father’s Day race, we’ve spent countless hours in the shop. I don’t think we’ve ever had these four cars apart, back together, and on the scales as many times as we have lately. There’s a lot of work that goes into this sport that everyone doesn’t always see.
Now it’s time to hit the road.
Next stop: Indiana for the NASCAR Youth Series Dirt National at Terre Haute, followed by the Battle at the Brickyard at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
We’re excited for the challenge and ready to see where we stack up.

Quick morning practice on asphalt before we head to Indiana later this week for the both dirt and pavement nationals 🏁
Jolene turned her first laps on pavement today and did a great job learning something completely new. Carlyn’s first time back on pavement since 2020. The girls are excited for the challenge ahead.
A huge thank you to the Bicker family for helping us get access to Creekside Raceway today its a pretty cool little track.

Why am I a good fit for the program?
Being a Hoosier Hero is about more than winning races. It’s about representing passion, pride, and success both on and off the track.
Racing has been a huge part of my life for the past 10 years. Whether I’m competing on race day, helping younger drivers through our rookie program, flagging races, working on our cars in the shop, or volunteering at community events, I try to represent our sport the right way.
Success isn’t always measured by trophies. It’s measured by the effort you put in when nobody is watching. The long nights in the garage. The dedication to school, where I maintain honors-level grades. The commitment to helping others. The willingness to learn, improve, and never give up when things don’t go your way.
I take pride in being a positive role model for younger racers and showing that hard work, sportsmanship, and determination matter both on and off the track.
