Packing things up and preparing the last of things for the
This one is definitely my favorite.
Ceramics are so hard to photograph, I think this one is interesting in all 3 dimensions. It’s really fun thinking about how to adapt such a dimensional medium to the wall, and what’s even more, adapting it to a small canvas size.

It's kinda wild to go back into the archive. Part of me wonders of I peaked in 2016, ha! In taking so much time away from ceramics this year, to build a new studio, my brain has been percolating on some ideas. Last week I started to actually work on building my work space. It still has quite a bit to go but hey, you can walk in there now!
I'm really excited to get back to making things that being me joy, with less of a focus of 'what will sell'.
Anyway, thanks for being here, and thank you for all of the support over the years!

Hey friends!
As many of you know, last April I started the really exciting journey of building the dream community studio here in Bend, Or. As these things go, they always cost more than you think they will when the real life complications of electrical work, equipment costs, and labor come into play. We are nearing the project completion and the studio should be open in July, we just need a little more help to get there. Please consider supporting us if you have the means, even a re-share goes a long way!

Hey guys! It’s been a minute! I wanted to post a little update as to why I have been so quiet on here since the holidays! Well...
*Drumroll plz*
I've been working on opening a new community studio here in Bend, OR! If you know me, you know that this has been my dream for the last 10 years. I've been working towards this for a long time. I wasn't always certain Bend would be the place but after really developing a clay and arts community here, it became clear that this is where I needed to stay. I'm so grateful for the support I've received from this community, I would be no where without them.
Follow to stay updated on the opening, and to keep an eye on build out progress!
Needles to say, my work will be taking a back seat to this endeavor for a bit but I'll be back at it soon! I'm so excited for this all to come together! Come see me at June 8th in downtown bend! I'll have my wares, but Ii will also have more info about the new studio!
Ps, didn't nail the logo design? I'm obsessed. 😘

We love a good speckle ✨
These cups are pretty small, none of them are more than 2oz. I wanted to test some glaze combos, and thought throwing off of the hump with some porcelain I’ve been saving for way too long sounded like a good way to start the year out!

Hope you're staying warm and cozy through these winter storms! Personally, I can't wait for things to settle down out there so we can go enjoy it! Be careful, there's some weak layers under about 24" of new snow!
In the mean time, I hope you have a good book and maybe a furry friends to snuggle up with 🤍

You know how you have found what you are meant to do?
I think a good indicator for me might be the fact that I have been on vacation for 7 days (2 of which I was sick for) and am having a great time with family, with decent snow and skiing--and yet I can't wait to get back to work. I crave it.
I know I have a mountain of work waiting for me back in bend, but I can't tell you how excited I am, and how grateful I am for the opportunities I have to do it.
Thank you all for your support this year, it was definitely my breast year yet, and I have a feeling this coming year will be even bigger.

A still life featuring work from some of my favorites 🤍
Last night we had some friends over for dinner, and I felt like even more friends were there because was I passed over the butter dish, I thought about my friend who made it, and my friend Johanna as we unwrapped the bread from it's linen. This is the power of handmade✨
I'm so lucky to have such talented friends. My home and life is full of beautiful things they've made. 🤍
