If you have not yet submitted your request for accommodations for the term, this is your friendly reminder to do just that! This is an essential step and part of the interactive process.

Remember that accommodations are NOT retroactive.

Similarly, some accommodations, such as alternative formatted texts, can take up to 4 weeks to produce, so submitting these requests as soon as possible helps to facilitate timely delivery.

Image Description: An image featuring the text "Reminder SPRING 2026. Be sure to request your academic accommodations in AIMS. Need assistance? Send an email to [email protected]." Above the text is DR's logo and a notification bell icon.

As we head into Spring Break, please be advised that the Disability Resources office will be operating remotely from Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

While our physical office will be closed during the Spring Break, we remain fully available to support you. You can continue to schedule phone and virtual appointments directly with your Access Consultants listed on the poster.

Image Description: The image is a flyer for SOU's Disability Resources department, focusing on spring break remote operations. At the top, there is a decorative border of watercolor leaves. Below, black text states the department name and information about their operations: "Disability Resources, SPRING BREAK REMOTE OPERATIONS, Monday to Friday | 8 AM to 5 PM, Virtual and Phone Appointments Available." Staff members are listed in green rectangular boxes with their names, emails, phone numbers, and specialties. At the bottom, there is contact information for general inquiries with icons for email and phone, surrounded by floral images. A logo for the Disability Resources department is also present.
