She’s not too bossy or nosy, but does spend an alarming amount of time silently judging Tommy’s life choices. She has perfected the art of the long, judgmental stare—and clearly has questions he has yet to answer.

Her adorable calf, Rueben, is never far behind, proudly following in Mom’s hoof-steps and already mastering the art of keeping a close eye on everyone.

The month of May is destined to highlight “Gertie”…the girl after my husband’s heart. She jumped in with a selfie on their 1st date at the feeder truck. Since then, I’ve had to keep my eye on her. She definitely wants my man.

Shout out this April to our favorite vaudeville comedy team… “Larry, Moe and Curly”.

They can be seen passing the day away rubbing their playful heads together, chasing the UTV across the field, or invading the personal space of their favorite human doing anything remotely interesting in their presence. Never a dull day with this trio.
