Listen, often times we take waking up in the morning for granted. We take for granted that we have a job to go to. What a blessing for me for 38 years. We take for granted the bowl we used for cereal this morning. We take for granted the keys that locked our homes and the keys to drive our cars. I say this to say, some of you walk around here mad at the world.

Be grateful that you can walk and change that attitude. You have many reasons to smile and hold that head up high. And if no one has told you they love you, i'm telling you now, I LOVE YOU♥️♥️

Being a advocate against Domestic Violence is NOT easy. We are NOT here to force you to leave your relationships. We are only here to give you tools for YOU to make a decision on what it is YOU want to do. If you want to stay in your relationship, thats your choice. Not ours, but what you cant do is contact us and attempt to make us believe that what you are dealing with, is where you should be. If you think being called bi***es, getting hair pulled out your head, having black eyes, etc is ok, then its ok for YOU. Attempting to make us believe will NOT work and i will tell you to have a nice day, be safe and enjoy your day, PERIOD. Im not here to debate, im here to help but you wont waste my time. Its nonsense and you know it is but again its YOUR decision.

Often times as children of parents or a parent that has not been in your life, we question ourselves thinking we werent enough, wondering why they didn't love us, blaming ourselves, feeling unwhole, etc. It's time to put a end to that. Stop thinking you are the reason. We are NOT. Those are THEIR demoms to fight not ours.

So honored to be asked to speak at a Domestic Violence Celebration on this coming Sunday. 16 women will be honored with hair and makeup and a full day of pampering. They will be blessed with several purses stuffed with all types of toiletries for their new life. Also they will be blessed with a tshirt, journal and a personalized note from me wishing them well on their new journey on the yellow brick road of happiness. Super excited and i cant wait.
