Given what I just went through I feel this is an important muscle group. My pain was in my lower leg! Issues in the spine can show up in other areas of the body.
It's important to maintain good posture, engage in regular stretching and strengthening exercises, and seek professional help if persistent pain or issues arise in the erector spinae (muscles surrounding your spine) or any other muscle group.
