Studio Bleu Dance Center

I really can’t put into words how this week made me feel. Our dancers left EVERYTHING on that stage. Every emotion was felt from the stage and brought us teachers to tears throughout the week. The trophies, banners, and cups mean nothing and everything all at once. The work and strength you all showed this week means the world! I know all of your teachers feel the same! 🤍 Miss Maggie

We had a great first two days, but the best thing is seeing all of our dancers rally and celebrate a graduating senior 💜 here’s to an even better day 3!!

Each year, in true Bleu tradition, we celebrate our graduating seniors and share their own personal “Senior Reflection.” Please join us by celebrating their past achievements and wishing each of them all our love and support as they begin the next chapter of their journey.

To our “forever BLEU babies” we will always be here for each of you. What an honor it has been to watch you grow up before our eyes. Remember that dance will always be a part of your lives. We are proud and love you so much.

Senior Reflection from Katelyn:
Hello! I’m Katelyn and I’m going to be attending University of California, Santa Barbara this fall and studying history and theater (and possibly psychology). I hope to pursue a career in film acting in the future! Throughout the decade I’ve danced with Studio Bleu, I’ve learned countless important lessons. I owe everything to this studio and this family that has loved and supported me ever since I first stepped into the studio when I was 7 years old. Without their help, I would’ve most likely never discovered my deep passion for the performing arts. To the teachers (especially Ms. Kate, Ms. Bella, and Ms. Melissa), thank you all so much for teaching me everything I know. Not only have you all been amazing dance teachers that have helped me strengthen my performance and artistic skills, but you have all been great role models to follow in my daily life.

Thank you to all for giving me plenty of opportunities to explore the dance world, including competitions, conventions, and the Disney Dance the Magic program. To all the dancers at Studio Bleu, thank you for always being there for me. I’ve become so close with many of you throughout the years and I really appreciate your kindness and openness towards me. I’ll never forget you guys❤️

Senior Reflection from Chris: From the moment I walked through the front door 7 years ago, I knew that Studio Bleu was going to be my second home! Despite my nerves, I felt so welcome with Ms. Kim and all of the teachers greeting me with open arms and willing to work with me on my dancing abilities. With Bleu, I was given so many opportunities! From competitions, to conventions, to dancing in the Disney parades, I was given so much training that made me the dancer, choreographer, and artist I am today. Aside from training, Bleu gave me a family who I could always rely on. I have made some of my bestest friends through Bleu who have continuously supported me even beyond the realm of dance and I am so grateful for them every day! As I wrap up on my time at Bleu and head to Virginia Tech (Gokies 🧡) in the fall, I know that the support I have gotten throughout my years at Bleu will help me triumph over any challenge that comes my way for the rest of my life! To my Bleu family, I love y’all infinitely 💜🫶
