Fresh Funk

Chris, Thomas, and Victor, at the first trio gig we did back in May at The Lost Fox.

The band will be back at Lost Fox in Ashburn this Saturday, 7/22, from 6:30 to 9 (minus Chris who has back to back sound gigs all day). We had a great rehearsal last night and things are sounding better and better.

Fresh Funk is a recently assembled group of experienced musicians in the DMV area, playing an eclectic mix of funk, jazz, blues, soul, rock, pop, fusion, and more. Coming to a venue or private party/event near you soon!

Current lineup consists of:

Randie Goode - vocals
Victor Herrera - guitar
Chris Mendelis - bass and vocals
Jack Spitz - keys
and
Thomas Thompson - drums, percussion, and vocals

We're likely to add some special guests when we can from our network of talented musicians and singers. But this is likely to be the core group.

We started with a couple of gigs at the Lost Fox in Ashburn, and will probably be back there soon, and will be looking at other venues to branch out to as well (let us know if you have any suggestions).
