June is PTSD Awareness Month, a time to shine a light on the invisible wounds that many veterans carry long after their service has ended.
At Black Ops Rescue, PTSD awareness is more than a monthly observanceāit is at the heart of our mission. Every day, we work to connect veterans with shelter pets, creating powerful bonds that provide companionship, purpose, emotional support, and hope. While PTSD affects each person differently, no veteran should have to face the challenges of recovery alone.
This month, we encourage our community to learn more about PTSD, support those who are struggling, and help break the stigma surrounding mental health. Together, we can make a differenceāone veteran, one rescue pet, and one life-changing connection at a time.

This Memorial Day, Black Ops Rescue honors the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.
As we remember our fallen heroes, we also recognize the lasting impact their service has on the families, friends, and fellow veterans who carry their memory forward every day.
At Black Ops Rescue, we remain committed to serving veterans through the healing bond of companion animals ā because honoring their sacrifice means continuing to support those who served beside them.
Today we pause in gratitude, remembrance, and respect.
Gone, but never forgotten.
