3 Things Every Baseball Player Should Prioritize This Offseason
1. Build Strength, Power & Durability
Use the offseason to build the strength, speed, and resilience that are harder to develop during the season. Follow a structured program focused on movement, strength, power, and athleticism.
2. Receive Individualized Skill Work
Random cage time and bullpens aren’t enough. Get assessed, follow a progressive hitting or throwing plan, and use data to track your progress.
3. Compete With Purpose
You don’t need to play every weekend. Choose a few quality opportunities to test your development while keeping the majority of your offseason focused on intentional training.
Train with purpose. Build your game. Be ready for the season.
Youth hitters try this drill!
From 7th grade to senior year.
Ben McLean put in years of work, growth, and commitment to the process.
During his senior year, Ben recorded:
* .564 batting average
* 14 doubles
* 5 home runs
* 48 RBIs
Years of development. Countless reps. Consistent work. That commitment helped Ben earn an opportunity to play at the college level.

We will be hosting High School tryouts on Saturday, October 24th from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. We are looking for dedicated players who want to take their game to the next level. Tryouts will include a full player assessment, including measurements (height and weight), movement screening, batting practice, bullpens for pitchers and catchers, and defensive evaluations. All hosted in our newly renovated facility in Arvada.
Come see how we do things differently. Sign up using the link in our bio!

2027 Evansville commit Jackson Shepherd ⚾️
“I felt like I was just kind of treading water and nobody was really there. But when I came to One6…water’s kind of cleared.”
In just one year, Jackson saw growth not only in his physical game, but in his confidence, mindset, and approach to the game.

Before you sign up for a showcase or college camp ask yourself these questions:
1. Am I strong enough?
2. Do I have the skills that translate to the college level?
3. Is it a good fit?
Don’t just show up, be prepared, and make the most out of every opportunity.
