Did you know you can walk from our cabin in Long Barn to the lake. Across this beautiful bridge and past a green meadow you will find a small community lake in Sierra Park. Stocked with trout for kids fish (only) and fun for paddle boards or kayaks.

The trail to Wapama Falls in Hetch Hetchy was absolutely unreal — waterfalls crashing over the bridge, granite cliffs everywhere, and views that honestly don’t even look real on camera. Definitely one of Yosemite’s hidden gems.
Would you do this hike? 5 miles round trip.
Wapama Falls at Hetch Hetchy might officially be one of the most underrated hikes in Yosemite.
Easy enough to enjoy, wild enough to feel like an adventure, and the waterfall crossing was something I’ll never forget.

This storm hit so much harder than anyone anticipated. We prayed for snow, but didn’t want it all at the same time! Bear Valley is closed. Yosemite is closed. Dodge Ridge is open, but things are really rough up the 108.
