I’m bringing my signature handmade acorn ornaments to the Umbrella Winter Market this weekend. I found these amazing long-burred acorns on a family walk - such perfect little canvases for dot mandala work. Some sparkle with Swarovski crystals, others hide tiny jingle bells inside. I went a bit nutty with this collection!

One of the hardest parts of being an artist and small business owner is showing up no matter what. My dear father passed just 9 days before my last show, and it took everything in me to stay focused and “show face.” But I carried his love with me every step of the way. Endless gratitude to my incredible 16-year-old for being by my side and helping Mama through the day. ❤️

I said a fond farewell to some of these stones at last weekend’s show. Huge thanks to everyone who came out to support me and my fellow local artists! Arlington Open Studios was bustling all day with folks finding gifts for loved ones (and a little something for themselves 😉). Congratulations to Rachel, winner of the Dot Mandala Starter Kit raffle! 🎉

Next up: Wellesley Marketplace, Saturday, November 22nd! For those collecting my acorn ornaments, you’ll be happy to know they’ll be there - and this year’s acorn ornament collection is pretty swashbuckling. The acorns I gathered are from a variety of oak with burred caps and long nuts… can’t wait to share a sneak peek soon!

Revelling in color as I prepare for my next show - Arlington Open Studios on 11/8! Can’t wait to share my latest pieces with you all.

Passing along pics of some of the happy, shiny people who purchased my work at last weekend's American Craft Fair at . It makes my heart glad to see my dot mandalas spark joy and find new forever homes. I especially love hearing the stories behind why someone chooses a particular piece. One moment that really touched me: the first person to purchase one of my new dot mandala starter kits did so with a special intention. She plans to create a dot mandala stone to leave behind at a wind phone installation when next she “calls” her husband there (he had passed away). We both had tears in our eyes as she shared her plan. I was so touched. Have you ever heard of a wind phone?
