On June 19th, we remember.
We honor the strength, sacrifice, and joy of generations past. Juneteenth is more than a date β it's a celebration of liberation and a promise to keep building a better future.
Happy Juneteenth from all of us at the Otis and Rosie Brown Foundation. βπΎ
Otis and Rosie Brown led by example. They parented with love, with intention, and with the kind of consistency that builds character for a lifetime. They didn't just tell their children who to be β they showed them.
Reggie and his siblings took that model and carried it into their own homes, raising the next generation on the same foundation of love, faith, discipline, and purpose. That's how legacy moves.
And that's exactly what the Otis & Rosie Brown Foundation is built to do β take the wisdom and values that shaped one family and share them with a community. Because the lessons that raised the Brown children are lessons every child deserves access to.
The legacy lives on. And the community is invited in. β¨

Today we honor the heroes who gave everything so we could live freely β and we celebrate the families who carry their legacies forward.
As you gather with loved ones this weekend, take a moment to remember, reflect, and give thanks. Freedom isn't free, and we are forever grateful.

Now comes the exciting part. New campuses. New cities. New careers. New chapters waiting to be written by you.

Extraordinary isn't a title. It's not an award. It's not reserved for the famous or the few. π
It's the neighbor who shows up without being asked. The student who volunteers before anyone notices. The nonprofit stretching every dollar to serve one more family.
Extraordinary is ordinary people β doing the work anyway.
So we're asking you todayβ¦ what does extraordinary mean to YOU? Drop it in the comments ππΎ
