In honor of National Lineworker Appreciation Day, we’re looking back at the 2025 Lineworkers Rodeo in Roseville, California.⚡👏We’re grateful for the lineworkers across the country who keep our communities powered 24/7 in all conditions. Special thanks to those who answer the call for to help quickly and safely restore power following hurricanes and other outage events. This day honors the life and work of Henry Miller (1858–1896), the first IBEW president, and our nation's more than 100,000 electrical lineworkers.

When a disaster strikes, like the devastating weekend flooding in the Texas Hill Country, utilities like Kerrville Public Utility Board (KPUB) spring into action to restore power as quickly as it’s safe to do so. Great work by all KPUB employees, including the courageous lineworker crews.
