⁣⁣I spend the end of each year in deep self-reflection. 2023 was a transformative year of great responsibility, leadership, lessons and clarity. I take into this new year a few lessons and reflections I share with you today:⁣

🥂 Progress is happening even when it doesn’t look/feel/sound/show up the way you imagined. The excuses (and oh, we can get SO creative with the excuses) are just a distraction- you’re making progress. It’s happening! Don’t let anyone tell you differently. Often times, it’s the people closest to you who see the progress before you do and they may even feel some type of way. They may say you’ve changed or you seem “different”. They may feel threatened and take it out on you (projection), and the whole time you don’t even realize the change is taking form. Celebrate your progress despite any negativity or distractions.

🥂 Gift yourself some discipline. It’s the easiest way to access results. You’ll never fail when you have focus + discipline. It’s the greatest self-made gift to your life + you learn so much about yourself, your values, and where you need to grow. ⁣

🥂 Every waking day we get a new chance. You can either use those hours to spread negativity, gossip, mind the business of others or you can use it to produce a fruitful harvest. Be a good steward of the 24 hours God gives you.⁣

🥂 Who you spend your time with has the most impact on not only your life but your wellbeing. Lean on your discernment because some people are just attracted to the gifts you posses and the benefits that come with your gift and not necessarily you. So ask God to send divine relationships and connections that are genuine and that may mean way less people but more far more fulfillment, wellness and peace. ⁣

🥂 Prioritize PEACE. In all things. Does it bring you peace? Make a habit in thanking yet releasing things misaligned with what peace looks like for you in this season.

🥂 There’s nothing you need to chase. Every good thing you want, wants you! That’s why the idea came to your heart and mind. Just go for it.

⁣At all times and in all ways, all is always well 💛 if you’ve got breath, you’ve got options. Thank you 2023.

As a working professional, I’ve never been a “post every day” kinda lady but I am finding new ways to share things that I have worked on and enjoy as a Pro MUA. When a prospective client comes to my page, I want them to quickly be able to assess that:

1️⃣ I can consistently do makeup well.

2️⃣ I have a unique, soft and wearable glam style of artistry that works well on professional cameras and national TV- Not too much but just enough.

3️⃣ I’m a real person (I show myself so people know WHO is showing up to work for them)

4️⃣ A variety of work that fits into the areas I prefer to work in and accept jobs for. For example: I don’t do special effects makeup and the times I have won’t make my timeline, website, or portfolio. That’s not an area I’m interested in being booked for.

The content creation process looks a little different for everyone but I hope this helps! Remember, QUALITY > QUANTITY

2022 marked 10 wonderful years of working in the bridal space for me and .gorgeous 💞💞

From very humble beginnings, I’ve been able to travel around the world, meet hundreds of the most gracious brides and their families (many who I can still speak with and many who continue to support me well after the aisle)! I’ve witnessed the most unforgettable moments in time, tear-jerking and joyful unions, all while navigating my own personal journey and expanding the reach of our capabilities as a company.

As I enter this next decade in my business, I am looking forward to moving with more intention and part of that will be limiting the amount of brides I work with while .gorgeous continues to grow. This will allow me to work in different capacities doing what I love most and taking time to smell the roses 🌹 I’m excited!
