I’m having a moment and I want to share my son’s journey by improving his lunch – see a leftover meal crafted the night before. Inspired by , I shifted from packing them “snacks” to wholesome lunches 2 years ago. A moment of joy: my youngest soared above the 90th percentile in all subjects, earning a spot in the gifted and talented program. Last year, my oldest found a passion in the music gifted and talented program. I do believe my sons are smart to begin with, and parenting and other influences are other attributes to this … but I truly believe these achievements are rooted in homemade lunches that fueled their potential. It’s undoubtedly challenging, what if the brain starts with the gut? 💖🍱👩‍👧‍👦📚
