📞 Looking for a meaningful way to give back?

PathForward is seeking friendly, reliable volunteers to help staff the front desks at our Homeless Services Locations in Courthouse and on Columbia Pike.

As a Front Desk Volunteer, you'll be one of the first people clients, visitors, and community members
encounter.

Whether you're answering phones, welcoming guests, assisting with administrative tasks, or helping direct people to the resources they need, your time can make a real difference.

Our Homeless Services Center (HSC) and Residential Program Center (RPC) provide housing-focused shelter, support services, and pathways to stability for adults experiencing homelessness in Arlington. Volunteers help create a welcoming, respectful environment where every person is treated with dignity and care.

Another successful school walk in the books. This week we visited Nottingham Elementary School.

The school raised over $1,500, and the kids were eager to join in the walk on this beautiful day.

A huge thank you to the incredible 6th-grade students at Montessori School of McLean for preparing 332 bagged meals for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

These meals will help nourish individuals served through PathForward's outreach and shelter programs, and they serve as a powerful reminder that kindness has no age limit.

We're so grateful for these young changemakers and the educators who inspire them to give back to their community.

Today, Paradigm's summer interns helped prepare meals, organize our clothing closet, tidy storage areas, make sandwiches, and serve lunch at PathForward.

Their efforts will help clients more easily access essential items and ensure our outreach teams have sandwiches ready to distribute throughout the community.

June is recognized as Black Men's Mental Health Month—a time to raise awareness, challenge stigma, and encourage conversations about mental well-being.

Too often, black men face unique barriers to accessing mental health care, including stigma, systemic inequities, and a lack of culturally responsive support. No one should have to carry life's challenges alone.

At PathForward, we believe that health includes both physical and mental well-being. We emphasize the importance of connection, support, and access to care for everyone in our community.

This month, and every month, let's continue to listen, learn, and support one another. Because seeking help is a sign of strength, and every person deserves dignity and hope.

Dominion Guild partnered with PathForward for a day of engagement and sandwich-making.

They made 372 sandwiches to be distributed to our clients through the Mobile Medical and Street Outreach teams!

Our latest Bag It Forward event was a huge success!

A big thank you to the incredible Girl Scouts who rolled up their sleeves and got to work assembling bags at lightning speed. Their enthusiasm, teamwork, and generous spirit helped make a meaningful impact for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

And as if that wasn't sweet enough, they also donated Girl Scout cookies to share with clients—a simple gesture that brought a little extra joy along the way. 🍪
