Dear Friends,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you on behalf of Unprotectedvictims, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for the rights and protection of individuals who have been victimized by racism, discrimination, and other injustices.
Recent events, such as the tragic incident involving Sonya Massey, have highlighted the urgent need for comprehensive support and systemic change. Sonya’s story is a stark reminder of the pervasive issues that continue to affect our communities. At Unprotectedvictims, we are committed to ensuring that no one has to endure such hardships alone.
To address these critical issues, we are launching a new campaign aimed at providing immediate assistance and long-term solutions for victims like Sonya.
Our campaign will focus on:
Raising Awareness: Sharing stories and educating the public about the impact of discrimination and injustice.
Legal Support: Resources to legal assistance to help victims navigate the justice system and protect their rights.
Counseling Services: Providing emotional and psychological support to help victims heal and rebuild their lives.
Community Outreach: Engaging with communities to promote understanding, solidarity, and proactive measures against discrimination.
Advocacy: Working with policymakers to implement stronger protections and reforms.
We cannot achieve these goals without the support of compassionate individuals and organizations like yours. We invite you to join us

Texas Crime Victims’ Compensation:
Perhaps, your loved one died because they were a victim of a crime.
If so, you could potentially save money by submitting an application to the Texas Crime Victims’ Compensation Program. The program offers up to $6,500 in compensation to families who need assistance with funeral costs after a loved one dies as a result of a criminal act.

Tragedy in Wrightsville Arkansas: What really happened in 1959 : As most of you know, February is Black History Month in the U.S. With that in mind, I decided to focus this month’s posts on hidden Black history—the lesser-known stories we don’t typically hear about in media. Many boys go for days with only rags for clothes. More than half of them wear neither socks nor underwear during [the winter] of 1955–56….[It is] not uncommon to see youths going for weeks without bathing or changing clothes.” At times, the number of boys at the “school” was over 100. There was no laundry equipment. A single thirty-gallon hot water tank served the bathing needs of the entire population. The water was deemed undrinkable. Employees brought their own drinking water to work.”
