Luke’s Joint is committed to providing our customers with a local, organic & healthy selection of menu options. At Luke’s Joint, we utilize 100% organic produce, locally grown wherever possible. Our “localcentric” point of view stems not necessarily from the fact that it’s becoming imperative that we collectively reevaluate our approach to economic, agricultural, social & p

olitical sustainability, but rather from the simple fact that it is so easily doable right here in Arcata, CA. All salad greens and microgreens are grown by John Severn at Little River Farm. Vegetables are provided by Grady Walker at Green Fire Farm in Hoopa, CA, Mike & Jennifer Peterson at Willow Creek Farm in Willow Creek, CA and Eddie Tanner at DeepSeeded Community Farm in Bayside, CA, to name only three farms. Grains come from Kevin & Melanie at Shakefork Community Farm in Carlotta, CA. Mushrooms are sourced from Mike Egan at Mycality Mushrooms in Arcata, CA. Potatoes and beans are sourced from Paul Giuntoli of Warren Creek Farms in Arcata, CA. Goat cheese comes from Arcata’s very own Cypress Grove Chevre, a multiple award-winning, small-batch, internationally respected, artisanal cheese-maker. The handmade bread comes from Loleta Bakery, in Loleta, CA, a quaint little town that hosts this incredible little bakery. The hot sauce is sourced from Humboldt Hotsauce, owned by Cal Ferris & Dan Bixler. Our organic, sustainable coffee and espresso is provided by Mark Ritz of Kinetic Koffee, located less than one mile away, on South G Street in Arcata, CA. Mark roasts the coffee you’re drinking on Monday, grinds it on Tuesday & we brew it on Wednesday. We also feature hand-crafted chai brewed in small-batches from Planet Chai of Arcata, CA. Luke’s Joint is also committed to supporting local businesses whenever possible. Allen’s Commercial Appliance has been invaluable in the development of our kitchen and business. All construction has been done by Pacific Builders of Arcata, CA. Our coffee brewing equipment was sourced from Angelo at North Coast Espresso. The upholstery was done by Marcella’s Upholstery in Eureka, CA. The furniture was sourced from Empire Furniture in Eureka, CA. The list goes on. The majority of the artwork in Luke’s Joint has been created by local artists. The “Still Life” collection was created by Betty Kuhnel from The Studio in Eureka, CA. The walls themselves were painted by Luke’s mother, Elena Patterson. The lumber for the Wood Mosaic on the West Wall was sourced from Almquist Lumber. Howdy Humboldt Lovelies!
Due to staffing and the slower season...we are going to extend our winter hours through March.
Currently we are open Sunday-Thursday 9:00am-3:00pm.
Friday and Saturday 9:00am-8:00pm.

Hello all! Everything has slowed down here in Arcata. This is having a direct effect on our business here at Luke's Joint. In order to roll with the change, we are going to have winter hours starting November 1st. SUNDAY-THURSDAY WE WILL BE OPEN FROM 9am-3pm. FRIDAY AND SATURDAYS WE WILL BE OPEN FROM 9am-8pm.
We will be open our usual hours starting back on March 1st.

Made with Little River Farm mixed greens, cucs, house pickled carrots, cabbage, red onion, your choice of chicken or tofu, and house made orange-sesame dressing.

Getting my grub on! One of the many reasons I am in love with Arcata is the supportive, amazing community. Small business people support each other. This spot is a new place in Arcata with a lovely ambiance and DELISH, local, organic food. You are missing out if you haven't tried it yet!! I'm having the Feelin' Peachy smoothie and the zucchini fritters. YUM.
