It also builds community - we move together, support each other, and celebrate every level. Whether this is your very first dance class or you’ve been dancing for years, you’ll feel right at home in Danielle’s class. Come dance, sweat, and feel the energy of Samba!

About Danielle Lima:
Danielle was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and now lives in Los Angeles. Samba has been the heartbeat of her life since childhood, growing up surrounded by the vibrant music, movement, and culture of Brazil. From her early dance lessons to performing on stage, she fell in love with Samba’s rhythm, energy, and joy. Danielle has dedicated her life to sharing Samba with others. She had the incredible honor of parading in the Rio de Janeiro Carnaval for many years, experiencing firsthand the passion, creativity, and community of Samba at its grandest scale. After moving to the United States, she taught, performed, and built a Samba community in New York City for over 20 years, choreographing for parades, Samba festivals, and events. Now in Los Angeles, Danielle continues to teach, perform, and inspire through both in-person and online classes, performances, workshops, and community events.
