I really don't know what to say about this one, it's just sick as hell. It's just one of those very special bikes that's super smooth with quality vintage parts, but flies under the radar—my favorite kind of bike. Most people who walk by would just ignore it, but for those with the eyes to see, the subtle beauty of this bike is clear as day. I call these types of bikes Ghost Bikes, and they're my favorite. Don't let the rust color fool you, it's actually painted with a super durable rust-paint. Sure there are some chips here and there, but it's one of those highly-revered classic steel trek frames and it has decades of life left in it. It's so special and so comfortable, it's exactly the perfect bike for ripping around town and perfect also for commuting or touring. Whoever buys this thing is saving me from acquiring yet another bike I fell in love with while building 😅✨

Yesterday was Sprouts last day at Moon Cycles.

We've worked side-by-side every day since we opened the shop 9 years ago. Now they're off on a new path, going back to school to get a Master's in Social Work.

It's just me from here on out, and I'm not sure how the shop is going to change, but I do know there will be a lot less giggles and sweetness behind the work bench. I already miss them so much 💔

This class will focus on important fundamentals like:
1) Anatomy (what's what on a bike, how everything is connected, and correct terminology for all the parts)
2) Proper tool use (there's more to it than you might think, all kindsa tricks n' tips and pitfalls to avoid!)
3) A deep dive into fixing a flat (for tires with tubes)
4) Learning how to use the M-Check to do a quick but thorough evaluation of your bike to get a clear picture of what's going on and determining if anything needs adjustment or repair!
