18th century, history bounding costume

Modern take on the 18th century split side skirt. Also made with inspiration from the movie White Christmas, particularly Judy’s skirt when she and Phil decide to pretend to get engaged “when it’s absolutely necessary”.
While not a hound’s tooth pattern like Judy’s, this wool material is just as lovely with its thin red and green check on the charcoal grey.

Mario needed his overalls repaired and a small snag removed today.

Mended and reinforced pockets and repaired some broken seams.

Mended a tear and reattached the skirt on this vintage children’s Christmas dress
